TRISTEC v1 is a standalone executable package for computing Slant Total Electron Content (STEC) and Vertical Total Electron Content (VTEC) directly from GPS RINEX observation files. Designed for ionospheric research and GNSS data analysis, it provides an efficient and user-friendly workflow without requiring installation.
TRISTEC computes Slant Total Electron Content (STEC) and Vertical Total Electron Content (VTEC) from GPS RINEX Version 3.04 observation files. It is available as separate executables for processing both high-rate (1-second) and standard daily (30-second) datasets. When a navigation file is not provided, TRISTEC automatically downloads the required navigation data, streamlining the processing workflow. Users may also specify local navigation files if available.
